Friction fix

noun

fric·tion fix | ˈfrik-shən ˈfiks

Focused, hands-on support to solve one clearly defined problem making your business harder, slower, or more draining than it needs to be.

This if for you if...

✓ You already know what keeps slowing you down.

✓ You’ve tried to fix it yourself and keep getting stuck.

✓ You don’t have hours to research the solution.

✓ You want hands-on support—not another report.

✓ You want to understand the solution without depending on someone forever.

What happens during a Fix?

1. We define the problem.

We start with a focused Kickoff Call.

Together, we’ll get clear on:

  • where you’re getting stuck
  • what you’ve already tried
  • what “better” needs to look like

We solve one defined friction point at a time—so the work stays focused, useful, and achievable.

2. I investigate the best way forward.

I look beyond the first obvious solution.

Sometimes the answer is:

  • setting up a tool properly
  • improving a customer journey
  • building a reusable resource
  • connecting tools you already have

I’m not here to add more complexity. I’m looking for the simplest useful solution.

3. We build it together.

This is the key difference. I don’t simply hand you another list of recommendations and disappear.

Depending on the Fix, I may:

  • guide you through setup
  • build alongside you
  • troubleshoot what isn’t working

The goal is progress without creating another permanent dependency.

4. You leave knowing what happens next.

Once the Fix is complete, you’ll understand:

  • how the solution works
  • what you need to maintain
  • what to watch for next

Where appropriate, you’ll also receive relevant notes, templates, resources, or next-step recommendations.

We’re not just fixing today’s frustration. We’re building confidence for what comes next.

“Kyla jumped in and saved me as I was about to throw my laptop at the wall!
Finding my way around the backend of any program (Google Merchant this time) is definitely not my superpower and honestly not where I want to be spending my time. Kyla quickly, and in a way I could easily follow, found a solution and walked me through the process. So grateful!”

A note from Kyla

I’m not here to take over your business.

I love the moment when a frustrating problem finally starts to make sense. The thing you’ve been avoiding is no longer hanging over your head.

After nearly a decade working across marketing, ecommerce, branding, community engagement, customer experience, and business technology, I’ve learned that business owners often don’t need another big strategy.

I’ll bring the problem-solving, pattern recognition, and a healthy willingness to click around until we understand what’s actually happening.

The goal is to solve the friction and leave you more confident than when we started.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to complete the Friction Finder first?

No. If you already have one clearly defined problem you want help solving, you may be able to start with a FoundHer Fix.

If the problem is unclear, keeps changing, or appears connected to several other issues, I may recommend starting with the FoundHer Friction Finder first.

What kinds of problems can a FoundHer Fix help with?

A Fix may involve technology, workflows, customer journeys, visibility processes, websites, e-commerce, lead follow-up, repetitive tasks, or other practical friction points within my areas of experience.

Every Fix is scoped before work begins.

If I’m not the right person for the problem, I’ll tell you.

Why does pricing start at $499?

Because not every friction point requires the same amount of investigation, setup, or implementation.

A focused workflow fix may be relatively straightforward. A more technical issue involving multiple tools or a customer journey may require deeper work.

You’ll know the scope, deliverables, timeline, and exact investment before work begins.

What if we uncover several connected problems?

That is common.

Your Friction Finder will help prioritize what deserves attention first. If deeper support across multiple friction points makes sense, we can discuss whether FoundHer Flow, the 90-day partnership, is appropriate.

Will I need to give you access to my accounts?

Not automatically.

The Discovery Call and investigation begin with conversation and relevant context. If reviewing something specific would materially improve the recommendation, I’ll explain what would be helpful and why.
